1959 出生于陕西省宝鸡市
1979 就读于中央工艺美术学院装潢系毕业后留校任教
1997 出版《吴强水墨画集》
1998 在加拿大举办个人展，作品被维多利亚美术馆收藏
1999 应台北大自然美学艺术中心邀请赴台举办个人展，同年在中华书画印艺嘉年华活动中荣获      “国际水墨画杰出创作典范奖”。
     《中国画报》专版向海外介绍。
2000 北京国贸实华开网络咖啡屋举办个人画展，网上拍卖，展出作品均被收藏。
2001 香港回归四周年画展荣获铜奖及优秀奖
2002 参加上海艺术博览会
2003 作品入选“高等院校名师美术作品邀请展”在中国美术馆展出
2004 应邀2004全年《百万奖金杯》才艺帝后状元台湾邀请赛 “奥运纪念杯”书画艺文台湾邀请

2006 作品被“青城藏宝”一书收录并制成亭联永久展示在青城山景区内，仿古作品《清明上河

2007  1 月 13 日至 17 日由北京经典太和画廊、《艺术收藏》杂志主办、山东烟台美术馆
      承办的《吴强教授“新意象”绘画作品展》在烟台美术馆隆重开展，展出作品均被收藏。
      5月至10月前往英国、法国、意大利、美国举办个人画展进行文化艺术交流。

Wu Qiang, Art Inspector of Beijing Modern Image Cultural Arts Exchange Center; once appointed to be Academic Chair and Guest Professor of Xu Beihong School of Arts, Renmin University of China, Member of Committee of Painting and Calligraphy, CETV, and Deputy Director and Art Director of Painting and Calligraphy Art Studio.

1959    Born in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province 
1979    Enrolled in Central Academy of Art and Design specializing in decoration, retained to be a teacher here after graduation
1997    Published “Wu Qiang’s Ink Painting Album”
1998    Held individual art exhibition in Canada and some of his works collected by Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
1999    Invited to hold individual exhibition in Taiwan by Taipei Nature Aesthetics and Art Center, won “International Ink Painting Exemplary Award of Excellent Creation” in Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Yinyi Carnival activities in the same year

2000    Held individual painting exhibition at CBD Network Coffee Bar of Beijing Shihua Hotel and made online audition, all of his works on show being collected
2001    Won Bronze Award and Award of Merit in Painting Exhibition at the 4th Anniversary of the Returning of Hong Kong
2002    Attended Shanghai Art Fair
2003    Works selected by Invitation Exhibition of Fine Arts Works of Prestigious Teachers in Higher Educational Institutions” and exhibited in China National Museum of Fine Arts
2004    Invited to attend “King, Queen and Number One Scholar in Talents Show of “Million Prizes Cup of 2004” Taiwan Invitation Competition” and “Olympic Memorial Cup” Painting, Calligraphy, Arts and Culture Taiwan Invitation Competition and won “Innovation Award”
2005    His works were put on show at Exhibition of First American (Huston) Arts Olympics” and won the award; Art Collection Magazine published his traditional Chinese painting by the essay.
2006    His works were collected by the book named “Buried Treasures of Qingcheng” and made into couplets displaying in Qingcheng Mountain resort; his imitation of ancient works Upper River during Qing Ming Festival, Bees and Butterflies Playing in Peonies, One Hundred Horses, Yingzhou: The Sea Melted into the Sky and Fairyland of Penglai were collected by Hopefull Grand Hotel; Wu Qiang’s Traditional Chinese Painting by the Essay and Emulation of the Better: Copy Ancient Classics was published; Art Collect published his series paintings Poetic Charm of Red Wine; the painting “Four-part Screen of Flowers” were published by People’s Fine Arts Publishing House and auditioned by Hanhai Audition; his oil painting Maturity, Midday of Holy Land was put on audition.
2007    January 13-17 Exhibition of New International Painting Works by Professor Wu Qiang sponsored by Beijing Taihe Classical Gallery” and Art Collection Magazine and undertaken by Shangdong Yantai Gallery was unfolded in Yantai Gallery, and all of the works on show were purchased by collectors.
            He go to UK, France, Italy and the US from May to October to hold individual painting exhibition and carry out cultural and artistic exchange.
